A totally innovative new concept of mounting the pad. It starts from a substantial difference
compared to the classic cycling shorts. In the traditional design the pad is sewn fixed into th e bib short panels. The contact bib short has the pad connected to the strap assembly and the pad floats relative to the bib short panels. This provides the most exact placement of the pad's shock absorbtion to your bodies pressure point.
Nalini has been a leader in bib short technology including the first pad in synthetic fiber, made instead of the one in deerskin. The construction of Contact provides that the suspenders are fixed directly to the pad with side seams and , through a series of passage slots placed on the shorts without bodice, they remain perfectly in place, guaranteeing excellent stability and allowing the pad itself to adhere and to perfectly follow every movement of the body while pedalling.
